Subscription Update v2 displays the Total Contract Value (TCV) of the updated contract before a subscription change is confirmed. Company Administrators in self-serve, and Marketplace Managers, Resellers, and Sales Support Representatives in assisted sales, can review the resulting contract value before proceeding.

The displayed TCV is the updated contract value, not the original value. It includes applicable per-unit, one-time, and recurring charges over the contract term. Taxes are included when tax-inclusive pricing is enabled.

UI updates

TCV appears before confirmation in the self-serve and assisted sales Subscription Update v2 flows. Presentation matches Checkout V2 for self-serve and Opportunity V2 for assisted sales.

📝 Note: TCV is shown only for subscriptions with an active contract configuration, such as a fixed term and minimum commitment units. It is not shown for month-to-month or usage-based subscriptions without a contract configuration. Self-serve TCV requires TCV support in Checkout V2. Assisted sales TCV requires TCV support in Opportunity V2.

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Setting enablement

No setting enablement is required. Subscription Update v2 must be enabled.
